About Gary Driver, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Gary Driver, FACFAS, is a board certified fellowship-trained Podiatrist & Foot and Ankle Surgeon, offering the highest quality care in Fort Worth and Weatherford, Texas, and surrounding areas. 

Dr. Driver joined Trinity Foot and Ankle specialists in 2021 and has been selected every year by his physician peers as one of the “Top Docs” in Fort Worth for Foot/Ankle Surgery. Most recently he was selected as one of the top 3 Podiatrists in Fort Worth and listed on Threebestrated.com. 

As a reconstructive foot and ankle surgery specialist, Dr. Driver treats ankle sprains, Achilles tendon injuries, Charcot deformity, foot and ankle trauma, foot and ankle arthritis, and other causes of foot and ankle pain and instability.

Dr. Driver completed his Bachelor of Science degree in biology at the University of Oklahoma (OU). He then earned his podiatry degree at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science (RFU) in North Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Driver began his postgraduate pursuits by completing residency in foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. During residency he had the privilege of serving as Chief resident. 

Then, during an additional year of fellowship training in Virginia, Dr. Driver learned advanced methods of ankle arthroscopy, lateral ankle stabilization, total ankle replacement, sports medicine and injuries, deformity correction, foot and ankle reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction, tendon ruptures and repairs, complex foot/ankle reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, and treatment of foot and ankle trauma.

He also has advanced training in Limb Salvage; including external fixation, muscle flaps, and skin grafting techniques.

As part of his commitment to the best possible patient care, Dr. Driver never stops learning. He keeps up with the latest research and surgical advances and regularly attends medical conferences. He has presented nationally and actively participates in research publications.

In his free time, Dr. Driver spends time with his wife, child, and their yellow Labrador retriever. He enjoys the great outdoors and loves sports as well.
